PHY961:Nonlinear Beam Dynamics Lectures Notes

The videos of the lectures by Prof. Berz and Prof. Makino were recorded during a course at the US Particle Accelerator School and are available in rm format, which can be played for example by the really powerful PotPlayer from Daum.

The main textbook is “Modern Map Methods in Particle Beam Physics”.

NOTE on the homework:
1. The answers have to make sense physically.
2. You can discuss the problems with your fellow students. But, you have to submit your own original COSY programs for COSY deck submissions. If it is obvious that your COSY program is basically the same with your fellow students, the awarded points will be divided among the people involved.
