Taylor Model Methods VII

December 14 — 17, 2011 in Key West, Florida

Directions

There are several ways to get to Key West.

By Airplane

Key West has its own international airport (EYW), located just a few miles from the conference hotel. Various connecting flights exist from all major south Florida airports.

As an alternative, we suggest you fly into one of the big airports in southern Florida such as Miami (MIA) or Fort Lauderdale (FLL). From Miami, it is a very scenic 3 1/2 hour drive to Key West, including spectacular "island hopping" across the various key islands to get to Key West.

We will do our best to arrange for some transportation the day before the conference from Miami and possibly other airports via car sharing. If you need a ride, or are getting a rental car and are willing to pick up other participants, please let us know as soon as possible.

By Car

Getting to Key West by car is easy. Starting south of Miami, route 1 is the only road to the Keys. If you want to get personalized driving instructions, check out Google Maps.
There is plenty of street parking available near the hotel, as well as covered valet parking.

By Shuttle

There are several shuttle services from Miami and Fort Lauderdale airports to Key West. Examples include Greyhound, Keys Shuttle.com, and Keys Shuttle.net. See their websites for details and pricing.

By Boat

The Key West Express is a ferry from Fort Myers and Marco Island directly to Key West. See their website for details and pricing.
