MaryLie/IMPACT: A Parallel Beam Optics Code with Space Charge
Abstract
This paper presents a description of MaryLie/IMPACT, a code
that combines the magnetic optics capabilities of MaryLie
with the space charge capabilities of IMPACT. The resulting
parallel code is suitable for modeling a variety of rf
linear and circular accelerators both with and without
space charge. Several examples will be presented, and the
performance of the code will be described.
